Saturday - August 22, 1998


Hello gang,

There's no doubt certain Ka-6 owners are as guilty as sin.  Yep, the
evidence is in: they left a perfectly respectable glider alone in 
it's trailer while the skies cried for company with 10 kt lift to 
6000 feet.

Mind you, I can only speak about Saturday, but those of us in 
private gliders were better off.  We didn't have to listen to the 
sobs of disappointment racking VKA's trailer.  Fortunately Winnie, 
Rob's dog, and Karl's dog Mitzy, were both there to commersate, 
willing to grieve with a poor little Ka-6 that nobody loved enough to 
take flying. 

I imagine the guilty parties will haul out the normal excuses. 
Indeed, looking at the evidence, Larry most certainly had a good
reason to be away because of family berievement, but there are three
partners to take an eager young glider airborne.  The other two had
better have at least as rock-solid an alibi as Larry or we'll have
them walking the plank over a river swarming with starving pirannas.

Guilty, as accused.  Next case.

Oops, Next case is PHH vs George Graham.  He faces a possible date 
with said pirannas because he was not there to take PHH up on a 
Sunday when the Austria could have gone adventuring anywhere.
