We offer FREE, fun field trips and meetings where we learn about rocks, plants, animals, water and stars from natural history experts. We provide hands-on experiences.
10:00-11:30 Third Saturday of each month at the Museum of Natural History
Naturalists teach us about a variety of fascinating nature-related topics.
We learn skills like how to identify living organisms and how to make Nature Journals.
1:00-4:00 Fourth Sunday of each month – FIELD TRIP!
We hike in nearby wild areas, led by expert naturalists. We have lots of fun while observing interesting things! Trips are usually within a half hour drive of Halifax.
“We feel very privileged to have found this great group.
What a great way for our kids to be introduced to all Nova Scotia has to offer. All events are well-planned, fun & informative!” – Parent of a YNC member
