1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
We had to change the location of our April hike for safety reasons (McIntosh Run’s waters are a little high right now to access safely). We will instead explore the geology of Crystal Crescent Beach, at Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park (see the Province’s website for directions: http://www.novascotia.com/en/home/thingstoseeanddo/listingdetails.aspx/crystal-crescent-beach-provincial-park/1865).
Get set to see some neat mini river systems, real time glacial and soil formation, and of course, coastal features. For this trip you’ll need the very Nova Scotian combination of rubber boots AND sun screen!
