Children’s Nature Day

A day for Children and Families to celebrate our natural world and
the food that comes from it.
Want to share nature with children? Love woods-walking, music, good food and maple syrup and music?
Come spend the day at Sugar Moon this long-weekend Sunday (rain or shine).
- Hike with Gary Saunders (artist, author,forester)
- Learn about maple syrup and taste the Maple Syrup 2013 Season.
- Eat a tasty lunch in the restaurant (MENU)
- Enjoy a concert by our favourite children’s musical group: The Wilderbeats!
The Wilderbeats are Joyce Saunders and Shannon Lynch, two Nova Scotian musicians who share a background in youth-focused environmental education. As Wilderbeats, they write and perform interactive songs about nature for the young and young-at-heart.
