Give back to birds this holiday season by counting them in aid of bird science! For more than 100 years bird watchers have been counting birds around December 25th in order to better understand bird populations and distributions. Help us inventory the birds of Point Pleasant Park on Dec. 11 from 9am to 12pm. We’ll have expert birders to help us from the Nova Scotia Bird Society. We’ll have treats at the end of the count, and prizes for participants!

Send an email to Karen at ynchalifax at yncns dot ca to register. Karen will send more event details to all registered participants a couple of days before the event.

The Christmas Bird Count in Canada, and the Christmas Bird Count for Kids are lead by Bird Studies Canada.
