Nova Scotia is blessed with a wonderful geological makeup. Bob Grantham, of the Atlantic Geoscience Society, spent 27 years as Curator of Geology at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History. During that time he dug up dinosaur remains, mastodons, crawled through caves counting bats, and collected many fine minerals. In his talk, Bob will guide you through some of the Province’s magnificent sites. World palaeontological firsts, sparkling mineral collecting sites and spectacular geological structures. Join Bob on November 19 to learn about the rock, mineral and fossil treasures here in our Province.
