10:30 am - 12:00 pm
We are pleased to welcome a guest speaker Manuel Dureuil, PhD candidate from the lab of Dr. Boris Worm (from Dalhousie University). Manuel will tell us about the shark species that we have in our waters, and will introduce us to rays and skates. He’ll describe the different forms and sizes of sharks, and why sharks are so important for our ecosystem – and that they are in big trouble.
Bring your pressing questions about how to save the sharks in our seas, AND your nature observations from this summer!
