10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Since its that time of year when most living things are beginning to hunker down for the winter and prepare their nests, I thought it would be good for us to think about and try our hand at building natural shelters. While most of us probably prefer our warm homes to get us through the dark, cold season, knowing how to build a shelter when you are out in the woods is a foundational skill for keeping safe and staying dry. Because we don’t want to be caught out like Mr. Frog in the photo!
I hope you can join us on the first Saturday in December.
10 am – 12 pm is our usually scheduled time. Since we might still be working on our shelters at 12, if folks want to bring snacks/lunch we can stay longer.
