There is not much to see here, in Manzano State Park, only pine trees. This range of mountains is north-west of Alamogordo three hours drive. Once in the mountains there are no views. We spent an afternoon here geocaching and walking the trails. This is mainly a camping park with little to see in the park. We did see a Stellar's Jay on the trail.
